First off, received boots from Amazon in record time. Now to the boot, ordered the lighter of the two color options. They are comfortable, good looking, and seemingly of good quality. Have only worn them a few times but so far I am very happy with purchase.

my husband was suitably impressed with these when given them as a gift. They are sort of retro and cool. Rugged and comfortable. These are not snow boots in the traditional sense- no slogging through deep snow or wearing for trekking through super cold temps. But in Minnesota, (sadly), there is a real need for boots like this which look nice enough to wear to dinner or walk to church in but will be warmer and have better grip than typical dress boots. These are great for that. They run a tad large.

The fit is as expected, they are light and warm and they don't look like a heavy "winter" boot. The slip on gets easier as they wear in a little.
